Let's keep it real, when you hire me as a doula you are getting more than 'just' support at your birth. My support is flexible and I am happy to go wherever you need to go during your pregnancy, birth and postpartum. For me building relationships is paramount, I am here to walk beside you, not take over!


I offer 6 visits across pregnancy and postpartum, that can look like the following:


  • Antenatal visits cover a range of different topics that can include but aren’t limited to: birth education, care provider visits, postpartum planning, fear releases, birth planning. Or anything you need at that time!


  • A storytelling maternity shoot at 35 weeks 
  • 10 images that you choose from an entire proofing gallery


  • Birth support- On call from 38 weeks until the birth of your baby
  • Support during your birth from when you need me until a couple of hours until after the baby is born
  • Birth photography (20 images from over the course of your labour and birth)


  • Postpartum visits that encompasses meal prepping, light household duties, playing with siblings and basically whatever you need on the day.

What is a doula?

A doula is a non-medical person who supports women and their partners emotionally and physically through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

How can a doula support me?

In many different cultures and throughout history women who are giving birth have always had other women there to support them. Doulas are not meant to replace the role of a partner, but rather support you emotionally and physically through this transcendental experience. We are there to nurture you through this!

What is the difference between a doula and a midwife?

In short, midwives can provide medical care for you during your pregnancy and in the immediate postpartum. Doulas are in the emotional, informational and physical support area of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

How does hiring a doula impact my birth experience and outcomes?

There are so many amazing benefits to hiring a doula! Shorter labours, reduced intervention rates, doulas soften clinical hospital environments, provide oxytocin boosting connections, improved breastfeeding outcomes and overall, mothers who have had doula support report feeling extremely content with their birth experience. If you're a numbers person, here is a quick summary:
- 39% decrease in risk of cesarean
- 15% increase in the likelihood of a spontaneous birth
- 10% decrease in the use of any medications for pain relief
- 31% decrease in the risk of being dissatisfied with your birth.

Do I need a doula if I have a partner or other support person?

Yes you can definitely have both! Doulas not only support the birthing woman and person, but also their partners. Having another friendly face around that your partner or support person can look to and ask questions or they can swap out with during those hip squeezes! Surrounding yourself with people who you feel seen, heard and loved by is going to feel so good while you birth your baby.

Can a doula provide support if I have a high-risk pregnancy or medical complications?

A massive YES! Doulas are a perfect to have beside through complications and high risk pregnancies. While we can't provide medical advice, you can talk with me (your doula) and I can provide emotional support and help you navigate complex medical information. Also we can work on communicating your preferences to your care providers and we can advocate together for what you want.
